Who We Are

Valor Fleet was built on a foundation of operational excellence, deep industry expertise, and strategic partnerships. In a significant step forward, we are proud to highlight the partnerships among our portfolio companies—Henry’s Wrecker Service, Windsor Towing, Road Runner Wrecker Service, Al’s Towing & Storage, and now Aaron’s Towing—bringing together premier towing and recovery providers across the Mid-Atlantic and Washington Metropolitan regions.

Founded in Leesburg, VA, and serving the region since 1992, Road Runner Wrecker Service has established a reputation for reliable, high-quality towing and hauling services. From roadside assistance and heavy equipment transport to municipal incident response contracts, Road Runner is known for its versatile capabilities and its dedicated, skilled workforce.

Headquartered in Falls Church, VA, Henry’s Wrecker Service has been a trusted name in the industry for over 40 years. With a focus on towing, recovery, and specialized transportation for government agencies, commercial clients, and private individuals, Henry’s has consistently delivered professional service backed by experience and integrity. The integration of Road Runner strengthened this legacy, enhancing service capacity and expanding regional reach alongside Windsor Towing.

In another exciting milestone, Valor Fleet proudly welcomed Al’s Towing & Storage to the family of companies. Founded and led by Al Leach—a long-time colleague of President & CEO David Butcher—Al’s Towing has been a trusted Northern Virginia operator for more than four decades. With locations in Falls Church and Sterling, Al’s provides towing, recovery, roadside assistance, equipment hauling, and secure storage. This partnership reflects shared values—doing great work, standing behind it, and taking care of the customer—while expanding Valor’s Northern Virginia footprint and increasing resources, responsiveness, and service capabilities.

Most recently, Valor Fleet Services is pleased to announce its partnership with Aaron’s Towing, effective December 2025. Based in Warrenton, Virginia, Aaron’s Towing is a highly respected towing and heavy equipment hauling provider that has served Fauquier County and surrounding areas for more than a decade. Operating out of five locations, Aaron’s specializes in light- and heavy-duty towing, equipment hauling, and roadside assistance. This strategic addition enhances Valor’s service coverage and operational capabilities throughout Virginia, Maryland, and beyond.

The partnership between Road Runner and Henry’s marked a meaningful full-circle moment for David Butcher, who began his towing career at Henry’s just before his 18th birthday. Reflecting on his early beginnings and the growth of Road Runner—from a single truck and a cell phone at age 22 to a recognized industry leader—Butcher emphasized that shared values, strong culture, and service excellence make these alliances a perfect complement to Valor’s mission. Fred Scheler, Executive Chairman of Valor and former owner of Henry’s and Windsor, echoed this sentiment, noting the opportunity these partnerships create to combine strengths, expand market presence, and continue delivering exceptional towing and hauling services throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Today, this combined strength positions Valor Fleet as a rising leader in towing and recovery services. With Henry’s Wrecker Service, Windsor Towing, Road Runner Wrecker Service, Al’s Towing & Storage, and Aaron’s Towing operating side-by-side as sister companies, Valor Fleet now spans fourteen locations with nearly 300 employees and a fleet exceeding 150 vehicles. Customers can expect industry-leading expertise, rapid response times, and unwavering professionalism—whether assisting stranded motorists, clearing accident scenes, supporting municipal and government contracts, or managing complex fleet towing and recovery needs across the region.
